Kenneth Grybel, a leader in the public recreation space, came to Maison Élevée ahead of the Michigan Recreation & Park Association (MRPA) conference seeking a powerful look. The mission was clear: design a garment that quietly commands the room while reflecting his professionalism, confidence, and grounded character. Maison Élevée delivered a one-of-a-kind statement piece rooted in purpose and poise.
The centerpiece was a custom two-button, single-breasted blazer crafted from premium Australian wool—selected for its refined texture, durability, and seasonal versatility. A deep burgundy hue formed the foundation, accented with navy and soft white windowpane checks that gave the jacket both classic structure and modern charisma. The design was rounded out with notch lapels, a rich navy lining, horn buttons, and intentional styling accents that aligned with Kenneth’s reserved-yet-refined aesthetic.
The client was thrilled with the final product, noting the exceptional fit, comfort, and the personalized details that made the jacket uniquely theirs.
Kenneth may not wear suits often, but when he does, it has to fit flawlessly. We conducted precise fittings to ensure ideal shoulder slope, sleeve length, and jacket taper. The goal: allow full comfort and natural movement during a long day of presentations, networking, and public presence. Minor sleeve and back adjustments were made to perfect the silhouette while maintaining a strong, confident line.
The final blazer was clean, elevated, and unmistakably executive. It allowed Kenneth to walk into a professional setting with composure and understated style—without ever needing to speak a word about it. Every element was subtle but impactful, positioning him not just as a participant in the room, but as a leader.
